In 2014, the Moventia Group created its micro-mobility division under the name of Citybike Global, and in 2020, with the entry of Sherpa Capital into the shareholding, it was consolidated as an independent company that has continued to operate in international markets under the Inurba Mobiliy brand. We therefore have the DNA of a public transport operator.
In April 2025, the London-based investment manager VisionEdgeOne acquired the company from the Sherpa Capital and Moventia groups to further strengthen Inurba Mobility’s position in the sustainable urban mobility sector, thanks to the excellent team led by CEO Fernando García Alonso.
Inurba Mobility stands out for its unique proposal in the European market as an operator of individual public mobility services. Thanks to its excellent and recognized track record in the concessions operated, and its exclusive network of technological and commercial partners, it can offer a unique micro-mobility solution adapted to each city and its needs in urban mobility.
The accumulated experience and in-depth technological knowledge of the Inurba Mobility team allows it to consolidate itself as the benchmark operator on the international scene, with services as representatives as Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Tampere, Lima, Clermont-Ferrand, Gijón, Rouen, Marseille and the metropolitan area of Tricity that brings together the cities of Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot.
Inurba Mobility, therefore, continues to respond to the growing demand for ecological and accessible transport alternatives in new cities whose citizens demand sustainable transport solutions.

Our team has many years of experience in the design, implementation and operation of over 70 public bicycle services around the world thanks to a versatile and multi-skilled approach, achieving success and recognition in the sector since day one.
20 years of experience in urban micro mobility have shown us that teamwork and trusting in the value of people are the only way to ensure success in all the implementation projects we have carried out.
These projects involved building relationships with the various local councils, public transport entities and their respective authorities that go far beyond merely providing a service and working hard every day with the passion that comes from being able to continue transforming cities and their metropolitan areas by providing the best urban micro mobility service.
The Clermont-Ferrand (CAM) metropolitan transport authority gave us an exciting challenge: to entirely replace the old public bicycle service by implementing a technologically innovative system and doing so in the record time of two weeks.
